This may be more of a love song but I just lost a parent. For some reason this song cane to mind. Here I sit crying. Love Darius. Just saw him a month ago in Milwaukee.

Whoever chose to play this song for this part of the movie is a genius! They are certain movies where towards the end, a certain song is played, and it just sets a tone ( often sad ) for the movie. I am not a big Beach Boys fan, but this song is a masterpiece! It being played toward the end of the movie where everyone's life was changing after the porn business, it was the right time.

Haha I heart huckabees I remember watching it in H.S. and this song was on my ipod. In HS I would listen to this to keep me somewhat sane. Back I. Those day I was a drug addict and this just gave me such a boost.

Was not expecting this ending. I was prepared for them to end it with a drug files dark abyss or more dangerous prostitution. They seem clearly content even if their line of work isn't long lasting. The characters won't be able to do open forever and the media will be changing a lot. Someone mentioned the aids/hiv crisis that will hit them soon. It is nice to see them happy in this moment.

Possibly Burt Reynolds greatest role.

Sucks that Burt Reynolds did not like this movie or his performance. I thought it was genius but he hated the movie.

The very first time, I heard the first verse, of this brilliant song, and after seeing the compassion in Darius Rucker, I cried. I still cry, each time I hear and feel this song. It's a musical-humanity-historical song. I bow-down, fall to my knees and thank God, there's people like Hootie and the Blowfish, and Darius Rucker, living on this Earth!

Jack really needs to get that TK421 upgrade for his stereo. He is going to need all of that bass. He just needs to bump it up 3 or 4 quads per channel. But that is just technical talk.

I really was glad the movie ended with everyone returning to this dysfunctional surrogate family with Jack as the father & amber as the mother. When Dirk goes back to Jack crying for help & forgiveness I really thought he would be turned away , the way henry was by paulie. I swear I teared up when Jack took him into his arms & they hugged tightly. I think it helped amber that if the courts would not allow her to see her child she was at least able to be like the mother to all these lost kids. I love the touch of the painting of Bil hanging up.
